"I suspect soya was first targeted by western women who were determined to find alternative remedies to HRT to alleviate the uncomfortable symptoms of the menopause. They looked to the east and discovered that oriental women did not have the same menopausal problems. Why was that? Could it be their diet and, if so, what was different about it? A few years ago a lady told me she had been drinking soy milk regularly and was at that time trying to get pregnant and she could not get pregnant. When she stopped consumption of Soy milk she was finally able to get pregnant.

Soy milk is not the only culprit, Soybean oil which is in practically every processed food, soy lecithin, xanthan gum, all these are soy derivatives. Thanks for this article.
