Ramblings of an old Woody Guthrie song in my brain

So, Dr. Strangelove, I presume?

Not so strange when you hear melodious threads in your mind calling "here bushy, bushy, bushy; here ricey, ricey, ricey; here rummy, rummy, rummy; here dicky-chickey, chicky...

oh yes, aren't they out running around(the spin campaign)like chickens with their heads cut off claiming to be acting in the name of PEACE...

"Where's the war" or is it beef for plutonium?

No WMDs you say,

but soon the sky may be falling if this keeps up.

NOW -

This is your opportunity to help protect us from the scourges of a nuclear weapons pit facility. Pete Dominici calls Los Alamos "The Crown Jewel of New Mexico". In the coming year, Los Alamos National Laboratories plans to quadruple plutonium pit production. The United States already possesses 23,000 nuclear pits, (the plutonium triggers for nuclear warheads). Senior scientists now concur these pits will be
reliable for another 60-90 years without a determined end date. We cannot allow our bio-region to be any further degraded by the scourge of this insane nuclear industry. They have lost their minds.

You now have the ability and opportunity to influence the decisions made about future operations at LANL by either sending your written comments or coming in person to testify.

The Department of Energy has issued a draft Site-Wide Environmental Impact Statement for Los Alamos National Laboratory, describing future operations and their impacts.
This document is open for public comment.
